Ordering

Our online shop sells künefe (delivered frozen) and boxes of baklava (delivered fresh) in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. Orders must be placed at least two days before the delivery date you choose, so we can prepare each one fresh.

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars. The delivery fee and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout before you pay. Your order is confirmed when payment is complete and you receive our confirmation email.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Your card is charged when you place your order.

Delivery

We deliver on the date you choose, between 10 am and 6 pm, to addresses in the Lower Mainland, from Vancouver and the North Shore to Chilliwack. Free delivery on orders over $100. Otherwise delivery is $15.

Please make sure someone can receive the order, or leave clear instructions at checkout. Künefe arrives frozen and should go into the freezer right away. If we cannot deliver and there is no safe place to leave it, we will call you to arrange another time.

Changes and cancellations

To change or cancel an order, email us at info@freshbaklava.com at least two days before your delivery date and we will refund you in full. After that, your order is already being prepared and cannot be cancelled.

Quality and refunds

If something is not right with your order, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with a photo, and we will replace it or refund you. Because künefe is a frozen food, we cannot accept returns. Once a product has been thawed or warmed, we cannot refund it for reasons other than quality.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.

Storage and allergens

Keep künefe frozen until you are ready to warm and serve it. Contains wheat, dairy and tree nuts (pistachio). Our kitchen also handles other nuts, so we cannot guarantee any product is free from allergens.
