Who we are
Fresh Baklava makes künefe and baklava in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. This policy covers www.freshbaklava.com. We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
When you send us a message through our contact form, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the products or services you are interested in, and your message.
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies on this website. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type in server logs, which are used for security and to keep the site running.
How we use it
We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes or orders you ask about, and keep a record of our conversation with you. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are sent to us by email and a copy is kept on our web hosting server, which is protected from public access. Our website is hosted by Hostinger, whose servers may be located outside Canada; your information may therefore be processed in other countries under their laws.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to maintain our business records, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, email us at info@freshbaklava.com or use our contact page. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
